Any Day Now: Plot
Handsome lawyer with a job and great prospects falls instantly in love with unattractive self-destructive loser who has twelve dollars left for rent. Days later, they struggle to adopt Down's Syndrome boy with severe degree of intellectual disability. Stunningly good performances and flawless production values of this low budget film struggle against what any West Hollywood club boy would tell you ain't the way gay relationships work.

This film is a classroom worthy study of the neglected importance of starting with a good script. Film history is full of stories in which with time and bags of money, a film can be massaged into acceptability or even fame. But with a low budget, a laughable storyline, and a 23 day shoot, your chances of success are better in a Vegas casino than behind a camera.
