I think it looks amazing, but over half of the people I've talked to about it seem to just shrug their shoulders. Not sure what that's all about, but I can't wait to see the damn thing! This latest TV trailer is a minute long and features a good amount of new footage.The film tells six stories that cross through different genres and takes place over the course of a thousand years. The stories are thematically related, and they are linked by the intersections of various characters throughout the film.

Cloud Atlas: PlotAll cast members have several roles in the final film, spanning different times, races and even sexes. This was achieved through prosthetics, wardrobe and tight production times to switch actors between units. For instance, Halle Berry described the experience of filming as a Jewish woman in the 1930s under the direction of Tom Tykwer one day, then switching to an old tribal woman under the helm of the Wachowski siblings, and then again as a environmentalist in the 1970s, all in the same week.I believe there is another world waiting for us, a better world." Another new TV spot for Cloud Atlas! And like the first one, this one includes another quote from my review. (Note: I had no idea they would be using my quotes, I just wrote that review from the heart.) This new TV spot for the Wachowskis' & Tykwer's "cinematic revelation" Cloud Atlas comes in at a full 60-seconds, and proves Warner Bros is very happy and confident with this movie, they just want it to find an audience (so do I). The Film Stage also quotes an interesting update on Directors Guild issues: "the DGA just couldn't comprehend that three directors could direct one movie."
