As Abraham Lincoln labors over the Gettysburg address, the importance of which he is fully aware, he learns that a menace from his past has returned, threatening to tear the already fractured nation to pieces. He must journey behind enemy lines to face an foe far more fearsome than the Confederate army: the walking dead.

After Nancy Lincoln (Rhianna Van Helton), the mother of 10-year-old Abe Lincoln (Brennen Harper) becomes a zombie, the boy sees his father Thomas Lincoln (Kent Igleheart) commit suicide at her bedside. Distraught, the lad uses a sythe to dispatch her before joining others in his community in containing a local zombie outbreak.

Years later, after Abraham Lincoln (Bill Oberst Jr.) has become President of a fracturing United States, he is apprised of rumours concerning a prominent Confederate stronghold. When questioning the soldier who had brought the news, Lincoln discovers the soldier had become a zombie. He then personally leads a team of Sercet Service agents to try and quell this new zombie outbreak.
