Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) is a very nice but also not very bright man who feels ostracized from his family, his father and brother both being doctors. One day he visits a minor league hockey game with his friend Ryan (Jay Baruchel). Ryan taunts the visiting team during a fight and one of their players climbs into the stands. Doug, in defense of his friend, headbutts the hockey player and knocks him out, which prompts the rest of the crowd to cheer him. Soon after, Doug gets a phone call from the coach of his home team who offers him a job as anenforcer, a players whose role is to protect his teammates and acts as a deterrent by hitting orfighting opposing players who take liberties with his teammates. Written by (Jay Baruchel) and (Evan Goldberg) co-writer of (Superbad) and (Pineapple Express)Additional Notes: Based on the book "Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey" by Doug Smith and Adam Frattasio.

Additional Notes: The film is an adaptation of the book Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey by Adam Frattasio and Doug Smith.

Movie Review:- Based on a true story, Goon follows Doug Glatt, as he moves through different leagues of Ice Hockey playing the team enforcer, someone who protects the team from other enforcers and helps the team to win. Goon is just the right mix of sweetness, vulgarity, and offbeat humor.  Scott’s breakthrough role was as the uber-jock Stifler in the American Pie movies, and it makes sense due to his physique and good looks.

Direction, Dialogues and Music:- Goon isn’t for kids. But adults who’ve long been looking for a physical, funny hockey film – a Slap Shot for a new generation – need look no longer. Goon will grab you by the eyeballs and give you an entertaining thrashing. All characters within this movie, have distinct definition from one another, this helped the dramatic elements of the film to flow.

Overall:- So we’ll fill the penalty box with 3 stars out of 4 for Goon, a wickedly funny sports comedy on ice that sees hockey as boxing on skates.
